I am deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Guanjun Jin's passing. I shall always remember his kindness and courtesy in receiving me, a stranger, into the academic community of Shanghai University. He made me feel a member of the family then and when I saw him on other visits. I looked forward to seeing him again. On the occasion of our first lunch together at the University, I mentioned that I'd like to keep my black chopsticks to remind of that lunch. Unfortunately, the table had just been cleared. But Dr. Jin immediately went back into the kitchen and returned and handed me a clean set of chopsticks in their paper sleeve. To this day, I have them as a token that reminds me of our relationship and of his graciousness.

惊闻金冠军教授去世的消息🧙♂️，我很震惊🏊🏻♂️！悲痛！初次会晤时，他的真诚、谦逊、和蔼可亲，我终生难忘𓀛。以后的会面更待我如家人一般🥊。我一直期待再次见到他👨🏼🏫！仍记得首次在上海天富平台娱乐乐乎楼与金冠军教授吃饭后，我谈到很想保留一双这里的筷子留作纪念🧏♂️，不巧🅾️，此时饭桌已被服务员清理干净🧛🏽♂️，但是，他马上返身走进后厨🅰️，回来时亲手交给我一双包装干净的筷子。而今天，这双筷子成为我们友谊永恒的纪念，在此对他高尚品质表示无尽的怀念！
